Affecting System - network slowness on our Barnesboro(Northern Cambria)

Good evening valued Never-Enuff Customers

We had reports of network slowness on our Barnesboro(Northern Cambria)node late this afternoon / evening.  We investigated and found a DDOS attack happening against our routers.  We have taken steps to block the offending internet traffic and everything should be back to normal now.  If you encounter any more issues, please either give us a call at 814-344-8189, send us a message on Facebook or open a trouble ticket through your customer portal.

A power issue cause a outage in Carrolltown,  This issue was attributed to Penelec and power failures.  The issue has been resolved and affected equipment has been brought back online.

There was a outage in Carrolltown @19:27 thru 20:02 EDT. 

The outage was cause by Penelec / Power Flicker / Outage

ALL services have been brought back online. 

This only affected Carrolltown Wifi Node.

Penelec has a power outage around Northern Cambria, mostly Barnesboro.  According to their website, they expect the outage to be resolved by 11:30 am.   You can follow updates with the power company here:  http://outages.firstenergycorp.com/pa.html

Outage in Carrolltown, not related to ongoing town power issues.

There was a DFS event that cause 1 leg of the NorthernCambria Fixed wireless system to drop to a slower wireless channel.  This issue has been resolved and is actively being monitored for any more ocurances.

Today Saturday 10-4 there was a minor outage due to a router failure.  The re was approximately 18 minute down time. 

The router has been replaced and everything is back to normal.

We are experiencing some sporadic outages due to a fiber cut in Hastings, This is actively being worked on / repaired.  We expect to have to repaired soon.

There is a wireless network outage in Emeigh , Pa due to extended power outage / Down utility lines.  Estimated time for power restoration is 11:56pm tonight 10-23-2017.
